1. Scope and Purpose
Ande Partners LLC (“Company,” “we,” or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy describes how information is collected, used, disclosed, and protected in connection with your access to and use of the KeyTalent mobile application and any related features or services (collectively, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy applies only to information collected through the Services and does not apply to information collected offline or through third-party websites, applications, or services not owned or controlled by Company. By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. KeyTalent is a professional software application that provides structured tools, frameworks, and informational content intended to support leadership judgment, reflection, prioritization, and professional decision-making. The Services do not provide medical, mental health, therapeutic, wellness, coaching, human resources, legal, or employment advice, and Company does not collect health, clinical, or therapeutic data through the Services.
2. Information We Collect
When you use the Services, Company may collect information that you voluntarily provide, including a first name provided during onboarding for personalization purposes. No email address, phone number, or account credentials are required to use the Services. You may also choose to provide user-generated content, including notes, reflections, responses to prompts, priorities, tasks, accomplishments, metrics, and other information you enter into the Services for your own professional use. Company may also collect information you provide when you contact us for customer support, feedback, or other inquiries. You are not required to provide sensitive personal information to use the Services, and Company does not intentionally request or collect medical, mental health, biometric, or similarly sensitive data. When you access or use the Services, Company may automatically collect limited technical and usage information, such as device type, operating system version, application version, session duration, features accessed, interaction patterns, and basic diagnostic or performance data, including application performance metrics collected through Apple's MetricKit framework and crash reports collected through Firebase Crashlytics. This information is used to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Services. Operational data necessary to provide the Services may be associated with a unique identifier assigned to your account, while analytics and reporting data are collected linked to a system-generated identifier and analyzed in aggregate or de-identified form for research and product improvement purposes. User-generated content and operational data may be stored locally on your device and securely transmitted to Company-managed servers to support app functionality, continuity across sessions, and product improvement. Such data is associated with a system-generated unique identifier rather than a traditional user account. All payments for the Services are processed exclusively by Apple through the Apple App Store. Company does not collect, store, or process payment card numbers, bank account information, or other financial details. Company may receive limited subscription-related information from Apple, such as confirmation of an active subscription, renewal status, or cancellation status, solely for purposes of providing access to the Services and managing account entitlements. For longitudinal research and pattern analysis, Company uses a one-way derived identifier generated from your account identifier using a cryptographic hash function. This derived identifier cannot be reversed to identify you personally but is consistent across sessions to support longitudinal analysis.
3. De-Identified and Aggregated Data
Company may create aggregated or de-identified data from information collected through the Services by removing or modifying data elements that reasonably identify an individual. Such aggregated or de-identified data does not identify you and is not considered personal information. Company maintains such data in aggregated or de-identified form and does not attempt to re-identify it, except as reasonably necessary to validate de-identification processes. Aggregated or de-identified data may be used for internal analytics, research, reporting, and product improvement.
4. How We Use Information
Company uses information collected through the Services to provide, operate, and maintain the Services; authenticate users and manage accounts; communicate with users regarding the Services; provide customer support; monitor performance; debug and improve functionality; conduct internal research and product development using aggregated or de-identified data; enforce Company’s agreements and policies; protect the security and integrity of the Services; and comply with applicable legal obligations. Company does not sell personal information and does not use personal information for targeted advertising, behavioral advertising, cross-context advertising, or data brokering.
5. Sharing and Disclosure of Information
Company may disclose information to trusted third-party service providers that perform services on its behalf. These currently include Google LLC (Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics) for behavioral analytics and crash reporting, and Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS) for cloud storage and infrastructure. These service providers are authorized to use information only as necessary to perform services for Company and are contractually obligated to maintain appropriate confidentiality and security safeguards. KeyTalent's analytics configuration is privacy-first: advertising identifiers are disabled, IP addresses are anonymized, and no data is shared with these providers for advertising, targeting, or any purpose outside of service operation. These service providers are authorized to use information only as necessary to perform services for Company and are contractually obligated to maintain appropriate confidentiality and security safeguards. Users may voluntarily submit bug reports through the in-app reporting tool. Bug reports may include a description of the issue and an optional screenshot. This information is transmitted to AWS and used solely for product improvement. Users should avoid including personal information in bug report descriptions or screenshots. Company may also disclose information if required to do so by law or legal process, or if Company reasonably believes disclosure is necessary to comply with legal obligations, enforce agreements, protect Company’s rights or property, or protect the safety of users or others. In the event of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets, information collected through the Services may be transferred as part of the transaction, subject to applicable privacy protections.
6. Data Security
Company implements reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and Company cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. If you believe your account has been compromised, you should contact Company promptly.
7. Data Retention
Company retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, fulfill contractual obligations, comply with legal requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. User-generated content is retained for the duration of an active account unless deleted by the user or requested to be deleted, subject to applicable legal retention requirements. Aggregated or de-identified data may be retained indefinitely.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to request access, correction, or deletion of information, and the right to restrict or object to certain processing activities. Requests may be submitted by contacting Company, and Company may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before responding. Certain requests may be limited or denied where permitted by law. Company will not discriminate against users for exercising applicable privacy rights.
9. International Users
The Services are operated from the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand and agree that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. For users located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Ande Partners LLC acts as the data controller for purposes of applicable data protection laws.
10. Children’s Privacy
The Services are intended solely for individuals eighteen (18) years of age or older. Company does not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under eighteen (18).
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
Company may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in practices, technology, legal requirements, or the Services. When material changes are made, the effective date will be updated and notice may be provided through the Services or other appropriate means. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
